Jai's own lens work — fashion, portraits, e-commerce, restaurants, products and more. Separate from his art direction practice.
Jai Gupta started out behind the camera in 2018, shooting fashion — the same eye for casting, framing and set that he now brings to production design and art direction. The photography on this page is his own — shot and lit by him — rather than work he has art-directed for other photographers. Categories include editorial & fashion, portraits and artist profiles for musicians and creators, fashion e-commerce for stylists and labels, restaurants & cafés, product photography, and brand image & lifestyle shoots.
Between 2019 and 2021 Jai was the retainer photographer at Humans of Bombay, where he shot more than 200 portrait stories of social workers, founders, sportspeople and young prodigies across India to accompany their interviews on Humans of Bombay's social platforms. That archive shaped his approach to natural-light portraiture and quick, conversational documentary work on set.
The portfolio below is organised by category. Artist Profile collects work with musicians and producers (Viepsa, Saachi, Kreon, NDS). Editorial & Fashion covers stylist collaborations and label lookbooks. Restaurants, Products, Brand Image and E-commerce are commercial assignments for Delhi-NCR brands and stylists. For art-direction and production-design work — the bigger campaigns, music videos and films — see the main portfolio.
